A mechanical engineer with 28 years’ experience in the wind energy industry, Paul has worked for National Wind Power (UK), DesignPower, Garrad Hassan, Wind Farm Developments Ltd and Meridian Energy Ltd. His core capabilities are:

• Site identification and landowner negotiations.

• Wind measurements, flow modelling, wind farm design and energy assessments.

• Wind farm consenting, environment court hearings and wind turbine acoustics.

• Strategic planning of wind farm developments.

• Wind turbine selection construction management and wind farm performance assessment.

GRAEME MILLS

A widely experienced land access negotiator and stakeholder relationship expert, Graeme has over 30 years’ experience in the New Zealand electricity industry, previously working for the Electricity Corporation of New Zealand (ECNZ), Transalta, Meridian Energy Ltd and Kakariki Project Management. His core capabilities are:

• Landowner negotiations, drafting agreements and maintaining relationships.

• Site investigations (pre-feasibility to Business Case).

• Consent application strategy and management.

• Stakeholder engagement.

• Wind farm civil engineering and infrastructure maintenance work.

STEVE HARDING

A project manager with a background in geology and hydrology, Steve has over 20 years’ experience in the New Zealand and Australian electricity industries, previously working for the Electricity Corporation of New Zealand (ECNZ), Opus Consultancy, Snowy Hydro, Unison Networks and Meridian Energy Limited. His core capabilities are:

• Consent application strategy, preparation and management of consent hearings.

• Stakeholder engagement.

• Management of detailed design studies and project economic analysis.

• Management of transmission line route identification and land access easement acquisition.
